Elizabeth was a dear friend and a lovely person.
It was she who informed those of us in Mrs. Wright's 7th grade classroom that President Kennedy had been killed.
Elizabeth was a homebound student and it was my pleasure to pick up her homework and bring back papers from school.
She lived down the street from me and made it a real treat to stop there in the afternoons for refreshments.
She loved Nancy Drew books and owned the complete set. She loved flowers and always picked and arranged them from her grandmother's garden. She also loved Davis Smith but would never tell him. He was such a gentleman she would tell me. (and he was)
Memories of her will live forever through the stories I have shared with my family. Sweet Liz, you've been gone too long.I still miss you. Anita
