Davis was the first boy I ever went to a school dance with. Several years ago he asked if I had a picture of
us and there was one in an old photo book I had at home.I put it in my wallet and the next time I saw him we
both had a laugh( we were in the sixth grade and it was not a good picture). I miss seeing Davis around town, there was never a lack of conversation with him. He was a very smart person and one of a kind.

well where do I start.....Davis was my date for the junior prom...I was nervious and wanted all to go well.... as always Davis was calm, cool, and colleted. I had wanted to go with a friend from Virgina but knew going with Davis would be the right choice. And as it came full circle that was the right choice. Davis as always was the perfect gentleman and the best escoret anyone could have. He was attentive, interesting and the perfect gentleman. It was a good evening and I had a great time. I will always remember how nice he was and how much fun I had, I miss him and wish he was here... I know he is here in spirit and he will be with us during the 40th reunion!!!!!!!

Most recently, Davis lived next to my wife's sister on Coggeshall street before he passed away. In fact she called the police since she had not seen him in 5-6 days.

Consequently I got to see him some and as you know, he always was ready with a laugh. He also was one of the few Republicans in Granville County and so Dad had lots of contact with him as well.

Rosalyn dated his brother when in high school.

We will miss him.
